Classes & Courses
We offer a variety of dance instruction from Praise Dance to Ballroom for students ages 4 up to adults. Our year-round classes and online courses are available on a semester basis.
An annual $15 registration fee is required for all student enrollments. Classes are $45 per month unless otherwise noted.
First Steps Ballet & Praise
Tuesdays: 4:45 - 5:45 p.m.
Ages: 4 - 5 years
This class is designed for those who never had dance before. There will be stretching exercises on the floor and on the Barre. Some biblical instruction will be taught. Students will learn basic ballet steps along with using their imagination through creative movement, dancing off of classical and/or contemporary gospel music.
Youth Ballet & Praise
Saturdays: 11:30 - 12:30 p.m.
Ages: 6- 9 years
Students will learn the meaning of Praise Dance and what is required to worship the Lord in dance. Class will start off with a 20-minute warm-up along with stretching on the floor and on the barre. Basic Ballet dance skills will be taught along with innovative praise dance routines.
Youth Praise Dance
Saturdays: 1:00 - 2:00 pm
Ages: 10 - 17 years
Students in this class will learn how to worship the Lord using dance movement. They will learn why we praise the Lord and what the requirements are in praising the Lord. Scripture verses are memorized. Class will start off with a 20-minute warm-up along with floor stretching. Basic modern dance skills will be taught along with innovative praise dance routines.
Adult Praise Dance
Thursdays: 5:00 - 6:15 pm
Saturdays: 2:30 - 3:30 pm
Students will learn how to look good praise dancing using basic dance skill movements. There will be a time for exercise warm-up and basic dance skill instruction. Students will learn innovative dance routines from contemporary gospel music. Students experience an exciting time praising the Lord during this class.
Summer Dance Camp
Tuesdays, Wednesdays & Thursdays: 2:30 - 5:30pm
Ages: 4 - 17 years
5 weeks long

Non-Dance Class - GIRLS ETIQUETTE CLASS (Ages 10-15)
Christian Charm Class
Summer Sessions Only. Class fee will vary based on how many hours covered.
The class is designed to give young ladies between the ages of 10-15 the opportunity to learn etiquette skills in a biblical context. Some of the topics covered during the 8-10 week program are:
- Poise & Posture
- Hygiene Principles
- Dress & Grooming
- The Importance of Purity

Dance Ministry School
A 1-Year Biblical Study of Praise Dance
This one-year course is an in-depth biblical study of what it would take to have a powerful dance ministry. Lessons are taken from a book called “ Exploring Worship” by Bob Sorge and a Student Training Manual written by Susan Alexander called “How to Develop a Powerful Dance
Ministry.” There are study questions at the end of each chapter and lesson that will give you an opportunity to recapture what you read and allow the information to be stored in your spirit. If you are a dance leader or an inspiring dance leader, you would inevitably experience growth with your dance ministry or team.
Fee: $600 for 1 year
Saturdays, 9:00 – 11:00 am
Online Dance Ministry Course
Have you ever wanted to learn basic biblical knowledge of praise dance ministry but could not afford the classes, or the classes were too far for you to drive?
This online course is the solution! Conveniently offered on-line at a minimal cost.

Traveling Dance Ministry Team
If you are interested in being a part of a dance ministry team that travels throughout metro Detroit and you are at least 17 years old, please call us to schedule your audition!
Mondays: 5:30 - 7:00 pm
$250 per year
Intermediate Dance Class
This class is for students who have above beginning dance skill level. Students will go through a more advance level during the exercise and praise dance practices. Emphasis will be more on technique building while learning the innovative praise dance routines.
$48 per month
Adult Ballroom Lessons
European Style Dancing with a partner. A class designed for learning the 1-2-3 Step. Lots of fun and interaction of dancers as one dancer follows the lead of their partner
A 7-week course for $55 pp or $100 per couple.
NALAD Health Conference
The National Association of Lively Dancers (NALAD) has an annual Health Conference that focuses on health benefits for women over the age of 45. In particularly, women aging gracefully while they dance. The Health Conference brings in subject matter experts regarding Stretching Exercises, Zumba Dance, Praise Dance, and Nutrition. An opportunity to network with other ladies involved in dance. Vendors include massage booths (Foot and Body), make-up booth, exercise machines, and much much more.
